The FVS124G Firewall with 4 Gigabit LAN and Dual WAN ports provides an SNMP manageable, broadband-capable, cost-effective network security solution: The Dual 10/100 WAN ports enable you to connect a second link to your chosen ISP (Internet Service Provider), providing failover protection. Or, use both WAN ports at the same time and let the router automatically balance the load. Either way, strong security capabilities protect all traffic. The four Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000) auto-sensing LAN ports offer gigabit connectivity links for servers and workstations or a backbone for high-speed switches. The FVS124G supports advanced networking features like QoS and dynamic routing and management capabilities through SNMP or web browser minimize on-site support requirements.

Secure Business Communication

The FVS124G Firewall ensures private communication between the main office and remote workers at home or in branch locations; via up to 25 simultaneous IPSec VPN tunnels: All data traffic between locations is encrypted using DES, 3DES, or 256-bit AES.

The SPI firewall protects your network against unauthorised users, and most common Internet attacks, such as Denial of Service (DoS) attacks. Keyword content filtering allows you to control Web access and block unacceptable sites. Logging, reporting, and real-time notification alert you to problems or attacks.

Easy to Set-up & Interoperable

The ProSafe FVS124G enables you to set up your network security simply and cost-effectively through use of NETGEAR's web-based Smart Wizard. The integrated browser-based VPN Wizard interface eases VPN tunnel configuration. Management capabilities, including DHCP and SNMP, minimize on-site support requirements. The FVS124G is VPNC certified and optimized for use with the NETGEAR ProSafe VPN Client Software (VPN01L and VPN05L) and ProSafe Network Management Software NMS100, to proactively manage and control your network. A single user license for ProSafe VPN Client software, VPN01L, is included on the Resource CD.
